When A Threefold Cord, LLC, approached me to establish a cohesive visual identity for their brand, they had a vision but lacked a guiding structure to bring it fully to life. The company, founded by Arthur and his son, offers financial stewardship rooted in family values and a dedication to sustainable business growth. With their mission clear, the challenge was how to represent their values visually across all platforms consistently. Without a solid brand foundation, they risked presenting a scattered image—something that could hinder not only their credibility but also the trust of their clientele. The task ahead required a comprehensive solution that would define and refine their brand at every level.

The path to building this solution wasn’t straightforward. We encountered various challenges, from narrowing down design elements to aligning each one with the values they hold dear. To overcome this, I created a visual brand guideline—a "bible" of their brand identity—covering everything from logos and monograms to color palettes, fonts, and styling for different media. I crafted a primary logo that symbolized their journey: a monogram that combined a staircase, gates, and an open sky—representing steps to financial freedom and growth. Alongside, I defined tagline options, core color schemes, typography standards, and unique accent shapes that would echo the brand’s mission visually. Each element was developed to ensure ATC’s core message stayed intact, yet flexible enough to be applied across digital and physical materials.

The final outcome was a meticulously organized brand guide that gives ATC the freedom to move forward without second-guessing their visual choices. With this document, creating a new flyer, website, or promotional material now takes half the time and leaves no room for inconsistencies. It serves as a blueprint that streamlines ATC’s internal processes, preserving their brand integrity while fostering trust with clients and partners alike. In the end, the guideline is more than a set of rules; it’s a reflection of the values ATC upholds, allowing their brand to communicate with clarity and impact in every interaction.
